Tom Jensen has had a long and successful career in the arts and music world and has had positions that range from ballet to symphony conductor to music director. Before beginning his professional career, Jensen obtained a degree in Music and Conducting from Minnesota’s Hamline University and completed graduate work at Texas Christian University.

From there, his first major project was to open the Youth Orchestra in San Antonio. Jensen has been working with the Denver Junior Symphony Guild for 25 years, starting in 1986 when the conductor was asked to start the Inside the Orchestra project that the guild organizes.
