 Thomas H. Jensen, Music Director of the JSG, has over 30 years experience in educational outreach: creating the Guild's "Inside the Orchestra" concept and founding the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio. He was also Principal Guest Conductor of the Twin Cities (MN) Institute for Talented Youth.
Mr. Jensen also has a background in ballet, having achieved critical acclaim for his work with the Colorado, Joffrey, Nashville and Royal Winnipeg Ballet Companies.
As a broadcaster, Mr. Jensen has hosted his own talk radio shows in Denver, San Antonio, Boston and Minneapolis. This work has been invaluable in the scripting and narration of the JSG's programs.
He has written for both the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post, and has contributed to a recently published book: Apollo, Challenger, Colombia: The Decline of the Space Program, by Phillip K. Tompkins-- Roxbury Publishing, 2005
