While most people consider symphony and orchestra music to be mainly aimed at mature ears, the Junior Symphony Guild in Denver took a different approach. One of their yearly shows was called Tiny Tots and was designed to be heard by audiences of a younger age. The music for the program was specially chosen to appeal to the musical sensibilities of children aged from 3 to 6.

Instead of the formal seating arrangements that are normally part of a classical music event, the children were placed in a circle with 31 of the guild musicians. The program included classical music that the children were likely to be familiar with, from cartoons and famous movies.
